Those who were around when Bruce Lee was alive will happily confirm he was as controversial a figure as Frank Dux. Both men’s feats are considered legendary, which naturally culminates in being revered, envied, and hated by their peers. When interviewed, Bruce Lee describes the controversy that surrounded him as, "The child’s game king of the mountain ... when you have ascended and are on top, everyone is looking up at you while trying to take your place by knocking you down." This portion of the website entitled "The Hard Facts" provides the facts by which to answer many of the "who, what, where, when, why, how" questions surrounding a short selection of the most infamous false allegations and rumors which have attempted to discredit Frank Dux.
However, some will not be deterred from attempting to take credit for Frank Dux’s historic and globally recognized achievements with their wild claims. In spite of the film credits and a preponderance of evidence to the contrary, many claim that Bloodsport is really made about them winning the Kumite! This is the absurd case of Jerry Bell, Paul Vissio, and others who are equally (perhaps maliciously) malcontent.
Naturally, baseless allegations like these have led confusion, speculation, and innuendo to surround Frank Dux’s name--transforming him, like Bruce Lee during his heyday, into one of the most controversial martial artist celebrities in history. And, in Frank Dux’s case, his name was also tarnished in the special warfare black ops community.
As great achievement will breed great jealousy, which is at the root of all controversy, typically, lies, gossip, and half-truths become the preferred weapons of choice. Like stones made of dung (injurious, with a stink that is hard to remove) the often faceless and conniving cowards sling them. This verbal "stoning" is made all the more despicable when slung by one under the color of authority such as a representative of law enforcement or under an appearance of impartiality and objectivity such as a journalist. To betray the public's trust is one of the greatest evils of all.
Such betrayal took place in the case of John Johnson (Los Angeles Times), Robert K. Brown (Soldier Of Fortune magazine), B.G. Burkett (Stolen Valor), and their many manipulative accomplices and allies. All served themselves, and/or the same extremist, neo-Nazi, fascist political agenda. Their apparent sensationalism can only be manufactured by lack of honor and the absence of accountability. All of this is made undeniably self-evident by their own dark actions which are illuminated in their respective section topic areas and made available for viewing on this website.
In addition, however, innocent men and women shared in these crimes when repeating the gossip and lies of others. It is especially painful for an honorable and compassionate soul to discover their innocent part in spreading the controversy. The allegations they repeat appear in print and so it had been assumed--they must be true!
After all, that is how society is schooled and history is taught. But history is written by the conqueror not the conquered, giving credence to the old adage "don’t believe anything you read." One is then encouraged to always thoroughly check all the facts for themselves. Far better the extra effort than to surrender one's power only to one day discover they have been misled like sheep to the slaughterhouse.
It is the desired result of presenting "Controversy" that everyone must be mindful of that inescapable truth--there are always two sides to every story and only after both sides have been heard and the facts thoroughly tested can one prepare to form an intelligent judgment.
It is this website's intent to live up to the words of a holocaust survivor: "never again," by giving evil no foothold and exposing those who have abused their positions of public trust. If left undetected, they will undoubtedly continue deliberately misleading others until a time when they can force the masses to conform to following their path. These are the sorts of actions that put and kept a dictator like Adolph Hitler in power.
Once again, these forces of darkness, the Nazi/fascists of today are spinning stories out of half-truths, as in the current day presentation of fabricated evidence and testimony, alleging that the holocaust (the organized murder of over twenty-six million defenseless men, women and children) never happened. Proclaiming it so in print and in their literature through direct allegation or by subliminally planting the seeds of doubt. It is called perception management. Daring to mask their mentor's crimes by attacking the veracity of the victims and sensationalizing that this grotesque abomination of the world was all a Hollywood film hoax. Also, they have attempted to rob society of its role models and heroes, such as Neil Armstrong. They proclaimed that he had never landed on the moon, according to a 2002 publication. A media circus embraces the lies because they, too, serve either themselves or are in a rush to judge. To do either, only one side of the story can be presented.
This one-sided theme is, in and of itself, the red flag that warns all that a manipulative deception is taking place. One must be vigilant in training oneself to recognize and be mindful of the presence of a single theme to avoid being deceived.
For example, the white supremacy movement has always had sympathizers who will hide behind the illusion of objectivity under the title of a "journalist" or "scientist." Behind these masks they work to pervert truth, as in Darwin's theory of evolution being spun to serve their racist agenda. This is done by promoting in print the notion that the races of Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East did not evolve to a level on parity with the white race. These "spin-doctors" asked us to compare America, England, France, Canada, and Germany to those underdeveloped countries from which these other races originate. Therefore, "scientifically," the Negro race, the Jews, and others must be considered to reside on the lower rung of the evolutionary ladder. "Scientific observation," they argue, "as anyone can observe and judge for themselves, shows that these kinds of people must be genetically and intellectually inferior to the white race." Otherwise, they emphasize, "Their kind would be on parity with us!"
A similar "scientific" rationale promoting the superior Aryan athlete disintegrated only after track legend, Jesse Owens, an African American, won the gold in the Munich Olympics, in the 1930's. It took another 30 years before Olympic swimmer and world record breaking gold medalist, Mark Spitz, did likewise and disproved the "non-athletic Jew" stereotype.
However, both Spitz and Owen would become the targets of controversy--just like all those before them who achieved extraordinary acclaim. Likewise, Frank Dux, by the very same virtue of being worthy enough to incite controversy welcomes his. Its presence is proof as to one's importance, relevancy, and authenticity. Fiction is never in need of denial.
As for those aforementioned "objective, science-minded" journalists, one cannot help but observe their intentional neglect to mention all the pertinent facts. Such as, that, while the "superior race" painted themselves blue and howled at the moon in the midst of human sacrifice, the so-called inferior races of the Middle East had achieved a written language, criminal and civil laws and architectural wonders like the pyramids. The Chinese had invented the compass and the silk road, linking different cultures through trade agreements. And the descendants of Latin America had invented a solar calendar and a method for measuring time, that is still considered today, several thousands of years later, a mathematical wonder of the world.
Never again! Deceivers masked under the appearance of objectivity and supposedly in "service" of the public must be exposed in order to protect the greater good. In principle, to be complacent or to remain silent is to allow hatred and ignorance to breed. The perpetrators of fallacious reasoning wage a war on humanity through their illicit illusion that ultimately causes a debt to truth and decency which has throughout history been paid with spilled blood. This has been shown to be a constant trend time and again. Never again will we be doomed to repeat it--lest we refuse to forget.
